The Korean war that happened in 1950, lasted for about three years. At the end of the war, the country found itself divided into two parts, North Korea and South Korea. Through years the two countries had dissents that has lessened their relationship. After the war families were separated as a member would find himself in South when his relatives would be in the Northern country. For years they weren't allow any communication but few due to hard rapport between the countries.
On February 20, the two parties had an agreement, allowing the reunion of families that were separated after the war. According to Euronew's articles the reunion event took place in Mount Kumgang, just north of the border. The second and third sources provide more information on the place of meeting that occurred in Diamond's resort hotel. According to CNN article on the first day about 200 members of families met. Euronews did not mention the number of people that attended, MSN article’s only give the number of North Korean expected which is not precise. Most of members were elderly as they last saw their famillies 60 years ago. The second article contains more information and details, it provides interview of a North Korean who was held captive after the war in South Korea and the hope he kept to see his family again.
The second article provides new and precise information than the others, conversely Euronews source give less information. All the articles are professional, they are written to provide information on the event.
