In Kabul there was an competition event  called Kite running. Amir and Hassan were preparing for the next own. Hassan was very good with Kite running, in contrast to Amir. Amir liked the event because, apart from competing with other student somehow it brought his father and him close. His father would comment on how him and Hassan were good at running kites than building them and he would take them to buy new ones.
